Zepto Nano Pulse Capsulotomy in Difficult Cataract Cases by Dr Suresh K Pandey Kota India

In this video, Dr Suresh K Pandey and Dr. Vidushi Sharma & of SuVi Eye Institute Lasik Laser Center, Kota, India shares their experience with Zepto (Mynosys Inc., Fremont, CA, USA, Marketed in India by Care Group India). Zepto Nano pulse Capsulotomy Devices is an inexpensive and disposable capsulotomy device that uses low-energy pulses to create a precise capsulotomy (Zepto-Rhexis), independent of pupil size, corneal clarity or crystalline lens density. Inserted through a clear corneal incision of 2.2 mm, the device uses a gentle suction to create a uniform capsular contact. Electrical nanopulses are delivered to a nitinol ring to create the capsulotomy with no cautery or burning of tissue. This device can create a capsulorhexis of 5.2 mm in size in white (intumescent, morgagnian, fibrotic capsule) cataract, or cataract with small pupil as shown in this video.
